Lacey Adopted on Jan 12, 2013
Age: Adult (2 years and 11 months)
Color:brown and black
Meet Lacey she is a 2 year old German Shepard/Collie mix! Lacey and her sister Chloe were rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. They were raised together their entire lives and after their owner died they were bounced around from family member to family member until they ended up in a shelter. They had a great owner at one point who cared about them alot. They are well trained, easy going gals who are fully potty trained. Lacey and Chloe are beautiful dogs who if possible would love to go to a home but who would also do great being separated as long as they went to a fabulous furever home.
Lacey is UTD on her vaccinations, is microchipped, spayed and a happy girl who is great with other dogs and kids.
She is currently being fostered in Zion, Illinois and would love to spend the holidays in her furever home! Lacey's adoption fee is $250, and we would be able to discount the adoption fee if she was adopted with Chloe if you are interested in meeting her or adopting them please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are the dogs currently listed not what you are looking for? Do you have a favorite breed and are having trouble finding it? Feel free to send us an email at email@example.com we come across hundreds of dogs everyday and we can help you find your perfect dog, perhaps another one of our fellow rescues might have exactly what you are looking for! We partner & are constantly networking with some of the best rescues, and if we are not the perfect fit, we will help you find one that is!
If you can't adopt and like Lacey, please consider a donation for her care made directly to the rescue via paypal or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia, often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 24 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
Thank you so much for considering adoption!
